Getting to Rome

The easiest way to reach Rome from abroad is to fly into one of Rome's airports. If you have time on your hands, however, you may want to consider coming in by train from another European country - for example, by taking the overnight train from Paris to Rome. Details of reaching Rome by train can be found on the menu on the right.

Rome has two main airports - Fiumicino (aka Leonardo da Vinci airport) and the smaller Ciampino.
